Kids  Ministry
Jesus loves children and so do we! We believe that from a very young age children should and can know Jesus to begin to live out His purpose in their lives. Our Sunday School focuses on the Bible as we help children become grounded in the fundamentals of Christian faith.

We provide child care in the Toddler Room for children through age four at the 9am and 11am services.Elementary school aged children meet for a Bible lesson during the 9am service in the Sunday school Room. Our children’s ministry leaders welcome all guests to our programs!
The theme of our Sunday School is:
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.
2 Timothy 3:16.”

Our children learn about the Bible through special activities. This year we have two ongoing projects:

Build a Bible

The Sunday School children are building a Bible by covering small boxes with paper. The children draw a picture on the box of a favorite story in that book of the Bible. When we have all 66 books completed, we will share our Bible with the congregation.

Armor of God

The phrase "Armor of God" is derived from Ephesians 6:11: "Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Over several weeks, our Sunday School students are building a “suit of armor” from everyday items we find at home – cardboard, shoelaces, paper bags, etc. We have a display in the lobby for the Armor of God listing each piece from the Ephesians passage.  We ask our worshipers to stop by the display and record thoughts about how we use the Armor of God in our lives. The children look forward to reading these writings each week during the Sunday School lesson.
