THE REV. RICHARD CROCKER, RECTOR

Pastor Richard was ordained in England in 1982, and has served in this country since 1991, in parishes in Iowa, Northern Virginia and now at St. James. He has served as rector of St. James since 2008.  Richard is a lifelong learner, theological thinker and especially enjoys teaching the Bible. Active in Church Planting in the Diocese, he serves as a member of the Bishop's Executive Committee. He desires to encourage Discipleship and Evangelism in a healthy church culture. He has been married to Caroline since 1979, and they have four children – Catherine, Jonathan, James and Stan – and five grandchildren.
The Rev. Cathie P. Young
THE REV. CATHIE P. YOUNG, ASSOCIATE RECTOR

Rev. Cathie has been serving the Lord at St. James since 1990. After completing her Masters of Divinity at Fuller Seminary in 2007, she was ordained an Anglican priest. She loves to teach and preach God’s Word, has strong leadership gifting and a call to outreach ministry and pastoral care. She serves as the St. James Director for Outreach and Missions. In 2011, Rev. Cathie was diagnosed with advanced stage breast cancer. After a year in treatment, she established a new ministry “Cancer with Compassion” which reaches out to those  who suffer with cancer. She has been married to Philip since 1984 and they enjoy serving the Lord together as a couple.

THE REV. TODD MEYER, PASTOR FOR FAMILY MINISTRY

Todd and his wife, Cristiane, have a passion for seeing marriage and families strengthened, and individuals fall in love with Jesus. Previously, Todd served as associate pastor at Church of the Holy Spirit and New Century Church, both in Roanoke, VA.  In his twenties he founded an inner city ministry called The Acts 2 Ministry (act2ministry.org) and served as the Executive Director from 1997-2006.  After this season of ministry, he moved to Columbia, SC to work on a Doctorate of Ministry at Columbia International University. Soon after, he was invited to work for Center for Global Strategies and started a "Business as Missions" venture.

 

Todd and Cristiane have 3 young adult children, Darielle, JT, and Caleb. He completed his undergraduate work at JMU  in VA and a Masters of Divinity from Trinity Divinity School in Chicago, IL. He loves to play and coach soccer, four wheel, hike, travel, and all things outdoors. He has a passion for missions, small group ministry, and his wife. You will find him reading a book most nights, or trying to learn Portuguese.

FRANCISCO MESQUITA, DIRECTOR OF CHURCH OPERATIONS

Francisco has served as Director of Church Operations at St James since 2011. He comes with an extensive background including sales, banking and mortgage, administration, and involved in multiple church ministries, Christian school administration, funding, rescue missions, and consulting services for churches, and nonprofit organizations. He specializes in taking big-picture organization goals and turning those into action based on strategic objectives. He enjoys start-up operations, thinks globally, uses his intuition and likes to problem solve to get the job done. He loves a challenge and is highly inquisitive. Francisco holds both an MBA and Masters of Divinity, a BA in Business Administration and certifications including MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) Certified Practitioner, and Studies in Law. Francisco resides in Orange County with his wife who is a teacher at a Christian Elementary School. They enjoy time together and time with family, including their two grandsons.

MARIAN MICHAELS, ASSISTANT FOR PARISH LIFE

Marian has served on St. James staff since 1975. She assists in the planning and coordination of church events, baptisms, weddings, and funerals. She is also a member of the St. James Flower Guild and finds it very therapeutic.

CHARLES MAGGS, DIRECTOR OF MUSIC ARTS

Charles Maggs has served as choir director, organist, worship leader, accompanist and handbell choir director at a number of churches in the Orange county area for over thirty years. He graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Music degree in 1983, and a music teaching credential in 1984. He was honored and privileged to assemble teams of musicians and direct the music for the consecration services of the first and second bishops of the Diocese of Western Anglicans. Mr. Maggs has been working with handbells since 1974, and has more than 80 pieces of handbell music in print for beginning choirs and small ensembles.  He currently directs the handbell groups that are part of the All American Boys Chorus in Costa Mesa. Mr. Maggs has been married to his wife Jill since 1992, and they have two sons.

Janet has been our Graphic Designer since 2012. Graduated from California State University Dominguez Hills with a Bachelor of Arts in Art/Graphic design and a minor in Computer Art. Her love for God and desire to pursue her career in Graphic Design has brought her to this point in life. She loves the fact that she can be creative and bring Glory to God in all she does.
